I can't believe that it has almost been two years since my last post. So much has happened that I wouldn't even know where to start. April 2009, I know I was single and not even thinking of settling down, I wasn't even close to finishing school, and life wasn't that bad. Fast forward two years and I am two classes away from graduating from the top school in the south, I am engaged to be married and I am for the most part really happy. I still work at the same place, and don't plan on changing that until I graduate, but as history has taught me who knows what will happen. Life always has a funny way of throwing you curve balls when you least expect it.

I don't know where to begin, so I'll start with some current events. School is going fine. I had to drop my Operations Management course today because I just couldn't get a grasp of it. I think there should be some type of pre-requisit that you should have to take, I have no idea what it should be, but I wish I would have taken it. To me it was like the class was being taught in another language. I have no idea what Pie over Sigma divided by the Square root of the projected sales even means. Don't get me wrong the class was super interesting, but I didn't know what they were talking about half the time. I did give it the old college try. I went and spoke with the professor and asked for some extra help, but my attempt was futile, it was not meant to be. I know now that I do not want to be a project manager. On a good note, I had my mid-term in my International Buss. development course and I am pretty sure I ACED it! It is a good feeling to take a test and know all of the answers. This class should raise my GPA. I am excited!

I have been feeling so unmotivated lately. I have this tendency to start working out and then just stopping for no apparent reason. I am starting to think that I am lazy. When I work out I feel better, but I just can't talk myself into going to the gym. I even went as far as drawing up a dry erase board with a chart that would track my progress of how much weight I lost and bought a fancy scale that measures my body fat ratio (whatever that is) and just like always for the first week I stayed with it and ran, but after that second week, I don't know, I just kinda stopped doing it. My fat chart looks like a straight line drawn across a board, so sad. I started working out because I just feel unhealthy. To anyone that has been heavy (I have been my whole life) we can tell when we are starting to flirt with the " dude your getting big" voice in our heads. I am complex, I am probably the chubbiest confident person I know. Some people might even say that I carry a bit of arrogance when I walk, what ever, there just jealous. I really want to lose weight, I just wish there was an easier way; if anyone has any good ideas let me know.

I have a lot more to write about but I just don't think I am ready to share everything at the moment. Plus, my fiance and I just had a fight and I think that it is a bad idea for me to write when I am pissed off, in the past it usually leads to more arguing. But I am gonna list some things so that I remember to write about them.

Things to write about in the upcoming weeks.

1. being sober and my experience with A.A.

2. Going back to church and really enjoying it. (life group)

3. How I met Connie

4. Being engaged

That's all I can think of at the moment, I finally have my own laptop computer so hopefully I will start writing on a more regular basis, I feel better when I see my issues written down. My own therapy.

I know that I post every couple months, and I am sorry. You have to understand though, I am a very busy person. I work on average about 75 to 90 hours a week. I will try harder to post more, even though my life is pretty lame.

So I wake up early this morning with the intention of getting my day off to a glorious start! I arrive 45 minutes early to my sat. morning class, I'm feeling pretty good. I buy a new note book at the book store, along with some pens and a Rollins pencil. Get to class ten minutes early; no one's there.......... I wait. No one shows up, even past the time that class is to start. I wait..........? I go to the library to make sure I have the right information. I'M AN IDIOT. Yea I'm early! Two weeks early! Class should start next week, however in recognition of Martin Luther my first class does not start until Jan. 24. At least I'm trying to be more punctual!

Back to School!

I doubt that anyone will be reading this post since I havn't written anything in such a long time, but Im gonna write it anyway.
I am proud to say that I am offically signed up for classes, well, a class. That's better then nothing though. I am trying to be like the tortise, slow but persistant. Someone I respect asked me once "how do you eat an elephant?" I don't know, I replied. "One bit at a time" he answered. Words of wisdom, I'm looking for progress not perfection.
The past six months have been a humbling experience for me. I have put forth an effort to seclude myself from the negative influnces that once poisioned my body and mind. In my seclusion I found much time to look inwards and see myself for who I am, and for who I was on track of becoming. I wasn't happy with what I saw. I push myself now, to be better than average in everything I do. I feel that I have grown more in the past six months then I have in the past six years. I know that I am young for saying this, but time passes by way too quickly. What have I done the past six years? What have I accomplished? Not enough! I guess what I am saying is that I have found myself. No, I don't have any answers at the moment on what I want to be or where am I gonna be in six years, but I know who I am gonna be and the type of character I will have.
I can't take the credit for my progress, I owe my life to my parents. At twenty seven years old I think I am finally getting a grasp on what it takes to officailly grow up. So to both of you, thank you.

I don't think that it is very fair for my brother to pass judgment on me for not posting more often. I don't have a computer, I don't have access to a computer near me and when I am near a computer I don't really want to spend my time typing away. Since I don't update that much here is everything that I have been up to that I can think of.........

1. single again and now my ex-girlfriend, Kristen Soberay, is gay! (does wonders for my ego)
2. still living with gay roomate until may 9th. Can't come soon enough.
3. sleeping with one of my friends girlfriends, which I guess makes me an asshole, but whatever.
4. might have a mild case of depression, but don't have time to think about it becuase most of the time I drunk.
5. trying to pep myself up to get another day job because latley I have been sleeping until about 3 pm.
6. really need to start shopping around for a new place to live.
7. pissed off because I still havn't gotten my tax return back! wtf!
8. need a hair cut!

That's all I can think of at the moment, I have a short attention span so stuff like this gets old real quick. So thats whats been going on with me.

So I didn't get home from work last night until about 12:30 am. No big deal, but then I spent about two hours wrapping presents for my daughter and my little siblings. After the wrappig party I watched T.V. for about an hour, with my father, before I finally fell asleep. That puts my bed time right around 3:30am. I must say that my sleep was WONDERFUL, until my big caring thoughtful brother thought that it would be funny to call the house at 4:15am, YES A.M.! I had been having a wonderful dream about naked snow elfs, that was cut short, thanks buddy! It's not like the kids woke up at 6:00am or anything! Just wanted to vent. I'll post some pictures from this morning later this week. I'm going to lay down for a nap!

The day before Christmas...... I am sitting in my livingroom, Tiana is sitting on the couch watching some Christmas themed cartoon. It just dawned on me that I am gonna be single on Christmas, that hasn't happened since 1996. The word of the day is Co-dependent. I'll tell you what, I like it. Not being co-dependet, but being single! And here are a couple reasons why......

No exasperating encounters with the in-laws. You can avoid uncomfortable questions, poorly made ham, and the inevitable whining toddler.
You don't have buy that stupid card.....you know the one.....the one that is supposed to show her you love her. Because that $300 gift wasn't good enough.
You can save A LOT OF MONEY since you only have to buy for your immediate family, and not hers as well.
No stressing over what "Mrs. Woman-Who-Has-Everything" might want for Christmas.
You can buy yourself what you want with your extra "spending money" and not have to worry about feigning a smile when you open up the Stupid GAP sweater you will never, ever wear.
If you burn the cookies, no one will know... and you know you'd rather just eat the dough anyway.
Holiday parties: You won't have to drag Scrooge along with you, so you can go and enjoy yourself solo, by impressing everyone with the armani suit you were able to afford (again... because you're single;)
GUILT FREE FLIRTING: The mistletoe holds a lot of promise for you as does "Santa's lap." Go out and ENJOY it before you're caught in a relationship void of PDAs.

I leave the last two up to you let me know what you think. Tommorro is Christmas and I can't wait! It's gonna be filled with great food, friends, and fun. To all of those people who I care about and won't be around to celebrate with me MERRY CHRISTMAS!(I'll post some picture of the events some time later this week!)

So today was a great day! I cooked thanksgiving dinner with one of my best friends pretty much all day, it was great! I really think that I have found my calling. As both of my readers know I work in a kitchen everyday at my second job and love it, and today just reinforces my dream of cooking as a career. Of course it wasn't only work, of course we played all day while we cooked. Here are some pics.....

The dinner was great, we had roasted leg of lamb, of course turkey, green bean almondine with bacon and crispy fried onions, homemade stuffing with apples and white wine, garlic bacon mashed potatoes, roasted potatoes with pear onions, asparagus tips and cherry tomatoes, creamed spinach with roasted tomatoes, Parmesan cheese and of course onions and bacon, sweet potato casserole, and of course home made cranberry sauce, and lets not for get the turkey and lamb gravy. For all of you who missed it, we were all thinking of you, hope you can make it over for Christmas dinner, Sara and I will both be here slaving in the kitchen to make delicious dishes for friends and family, can't wait to see you!

So I guess this means that I have to write about the same emotions on his page? Well, that's what I am gonna do....... so here it goes.

Last time I was angry: I had a friend call me the other night asking if I could come and pick them up from a bar because they had had to much to drink. I arrived at the bar and waited for about an hour, they were not there. I was pretty P.O.ed!

Last time I was sad: I have been missing my family alot latley, I can't wait to see my little brother when he gets back!

Last time I was frustrated: I have been really frustrated for the past couple of days because kristens car is not working, so I have been carting her around everywhere, it really sucks. I can't wait for her car to get fixed, I hope it's not too expensive!

Last time I was depressed: I have an ongoing fight against depression, most people get the winter blues, not me, I get depressed in the summer because work slows down and I am always broke. Nothing an increase in medication can't fix.

Last time I was happy: I was pretty happy on my birthday! I had a great time. But the last time I was really happy for an extended period of time was spending time in Saipan with Angelo. I just wish we could have been there for other reasons.

Last time I was exhausted: I went running about a month ago, and just over did it. I had a headache and was throwing up for like three hours after I was done. Yea thats why the last time I went running was a month ago. I'm getting fat! O.k. fatter! I'm depressed......

Last time I was afraid: I don't really know, my medication keeps me pretty mellow, it's great!

Last time I was surprised: I'm not really sure about this one either. I think this also has to do with the medication.

So, there you go. My top eight emotions, hope you feel so much closer to me now!

So today is my 26th birthday! I havn't done much today, I was up pretty late last night so I am taking it easy until later tonight. I don't want to get too crazy, mainly because I am broke! I have yet to find a second job! I am getting annoyed with having to fill out applications on-line, doesn't anyone do it the old fashoin way? I am running out of places to go. I think that the main reason why it is taking so long is because I only want to work at an inside job; I don't want to sweat my butt off outside all summer. So that's what I have been up to, I'll let you know when I find a second job.

So I am sitting here watching Tiana play in the pool and waiting for my mother to come over with my little brother and sister, and this is my view. I can't compain, life is good! Not only that, there are five more just like this one to the right and two to the left. Have I mentioned that I love my new apartment compex. I guess there are so many girls that live in this place because of its proximity to UCF.

So like I said my family is coming over to night to hang out, I am gonna make fajitas, a zesty tex-mex dish with onions, chicken, and bell pepers. It is going to be delicous. I can't wait.

How the hell does angelo work so damn much and find time to write on his blog just about every day? I have finally finished moving into my new apartment. I love it! I just got finished folding the last of my laundry and I was reading Angelos blog, which I havn't done in quite a while. I took me fourty five minutes to catch up! So, the only real reason why I am writing this post is out of pure guilt. I keep telling my self that I should keep up with it and I never do. I guess I don't think that my life is all that interesting. Anyway I just wanted to give both of my readers the heads up that I will be putting up some pictures, from the last month and ahalf that I have been neglecting to share with the world, up on my blog. They will consist of Annas vist to Orlando, Jorge Burgos's graduation from St. Leo's College, Andres Visit down to Orlando, and the big move into the new apartment! I bet the both of you can't wait!

Tiana and I had a blast from the past and stayed at my mothers house last night. Tiana has a dentist appointment this morning, so we thought it would be easier to stay in winter park since the doctors office is downtown. Tiana chipped a tooth rider her bike while she was with her mother, so as usual sandra bangs her up and I do all the doctor visits! Jimmy was happy that I spent the night we went to the movies last night and saw the movie "Zodiac". I thought that the movie was really good, just a little long. Jimmy fell asleep before the movie even started and then told my mother that he didn't like the movie when he woke up this morning. He spent $7.50 to sleep in the movie theater! So, it is seven thirty and we are headed out the door!

Yesterday I had some good old American fun! Beer,Family, and Disney World! The theme for my day was "Hats of the World!" You can probably guess why it was called this, but for those readers that are completely dense, let me explain. We walked around the park stopping at every country and finding the hat the the country was know for. Then, we would put on the hats and try to attract as much attention to ourselves so that a small crowed would gather around us, and then we would ask one of the on lookers to take our picture or some times be in the piture.(U.S.A.) It was lots of fun! My cousin, Red Sox Sean flew down with his wife, Laura, for a weeks vacation and to see the Red Sox play some spring training games. My other cousin, Saipan Joey works for Walt Disney and was off from work, so I thought that a long lost family reunion was in order. (Since their not related and they had never met.)
Joe was nice enough to get us all in at a very affordable rate into Disney's Epcot Center! (Thanks Joe!) Here are some of the pics from our glorious day!

Tiana has the today and tomorrow off from school, so we are doing the normal day off activities.... park, movies, hanging out, and relaxing. When we left the house to go to the park I didn't think that it was that cold out, I was wrong. I am sitting here at the park freezing; however, tiana who has less clothes on then me is doing just fine. We'll be here for another half an hour and then go grab some subs from publix...yum. Can't wait, I'm hungry! After that we're probably gonna go and see a movie, who knows. I'm just glad that I get some one on one time with T!

I should have known.....I woke up this morning and ask the age old question......"Tiana, do you feel well enough to go to school?" I should have known that she was going to say no. Wouldn't you? She claimed that her throat was sore and that she still just did not feel all the way better. (those are her words) I felt her head and checked her temp. and she did have a bit of a fever, so I decieded that she better just rest all day, and rest we did. We both woke up around noon. We watched a couple of movies and then cleaned the house.

After cleaning the house we headed to my mothers house to pick up Tiana's backpack that she had forgotten there on friday. Not a very productive day, but at least I am well rested. Tomorro I plan on doing "stuff" haven't figured it out yet but it will be good.

This stinks! My sunday has been lost to me being sick! So what does Alex do when he is sick, you ask? A-B-S-O-L-U-T-L-Y NOTHING! But don't feel bad for me, Tiana was sick friday and a little under the weather today, and today she was stuck at the house watching about 15 movies, not exactly what a six year old wants to do on her week end.

I havn't written in a while so let me catch everyone up. In the past couple of weeks I have quite my day job, done lots of catching up on sleep due to the lack of work in the mornings. My average time of waking is about 1p.m. It's great! I will most likely be looking for another day job some time next week when I am feeling alittle bit better.

Couldn't sleep last night. It's funny how when you are really tired after working a lot, you can't sleep. I worked 18 hours yesterday, and all day the one thing on my mind was "I can't wait to get home and get some sleep". When I got home around 1am I needed to wind down and relax, so I did, until about 4am. Then, I awoke bright and early at 7:30am! I think that it is because I work every other day at that time, funny how that works, the one day I want to sleep-in I can't because my body wants to work. I tried going back to bed, but that didn't work! So here I am typing away when I could be sleeping.

I talked to my cousin Mike Hope last night for a little while, he sounds like he is doing really well. I hope that I will be able to go and visit him either next month or in febuary. He made me feel really old when he told me that he will be turning 30 next month. Where does the time go? He said he'll be coming down to florida sometime in febuary or march when the plane tickets get cheaper.

I'm still taking the Zolfot, and I think all in all it is helping. However, I still get panic attacks once in awhile, but they don't last as long and they don't carry into the next day. Every time I had one I had had a drink, so I have decided to stop drinking completely until I have run thru my meds. The mind is such a crazy thing, I know that most of my symptoms are all in my head, but for some reason they keep coming back. I wish I had a new brain.

Work is good. I have been making good money for the past week. Tis the season. I wish that Christmas would last all year round! The one thing that I have realized after working so hard for the past couple months, is that I really need to go back to school so that I can get a job and make some real money. I feel like I have the potential to do great things, and it is being wasted on waiting tables. The recurring comment that I get from my guest "Here's my card, call me when you graduate, I could use someone like you". It is starting to get old. People seem to think that I am a great people person and that I can sell just about anything to anyone, but I need that damn degree for anyone to consider hiring me. New years resolution......GO BACK TO SCHOOL!

Tiana is doing great, she is in kindergarden and loving it! She is one of the cool kids at school. She misses her uncle Angelo a lot! So if your reading this you need to come and visit! She asks me at least once a week "when is Uncle Angelo coming home?" She looks more and more like me everyday, I can't get over it.

My love life is fine, no big news. Still with the same girl, no wedding bells in the near future. Girls are a pain in the ass. I'm considering becoming a porn star and just saying fuck it to relationships.

Gonna go and try to get some sleep, write more later.

After the game we went to Walmart for some house hold items and this is what we saw when we arrived.......
I took this picture with my phone, so the qaulity is not that great. If you look close you can see about 100 people camping infront of the store. Why are they doing this you ask..........? They are waiting for the arrival of the new Playstaion 3, which comes out on Friday the 17th. Crazy! Not for me....

Kristen and I went to see the Orlando Magic stomp up on the Denver Nuggets tonight! WOOT-WOOT! I was originally gonna work tonight, but I got a call around 3 o'clock from an old freind (Sean Sullivan)telling me that he had an extra ticket for the game tonight. At first we wern't gonna go because he only had one ticket but since Kristen hasn't ever gone to an NBA game I thought that it would be fun to go and check it out. We arrived at the game about 15 minutes early planning on getting some scalped tickets. However, when we arrived at the game Sean had already got us two tickets...............but.............we wern't sitting next to eachother! I didn't think that it was a big deal because I thought that we could just sneak in and sit where ever we wanted to.........and we did..........until we kept having to get up because people kept showing up, and we were in their seats. This got really annoying! Kristen ended up getting pissed off because we couldn't sit next together and walked out of the game! She made it as far as the parking lot.........got in the car......and started to drive off.........then she listened to me and parked.........and we went back to the game. I bought some scalped tickets from some guy for a low price, and they were floor seats! Kristen got over her little hissy-fit and we both got to enjoy the game. The seats were really good! I have never watched a game that close before. The court looks so much bigger when it is on T.V. With all the drama of Kristen throwing a "Wally" we only missed about half of one quarter. So we still got to watch pretty much the whole game.

The Magic ended up wining the game 108 to 99! Woot-Woot! So what started off as a rocky night, ended up being a really good one!

Today is really the first day since taking my new meds that I am feeling good. I only blew chunks once! That is a big deal, since usaully it happens close to ten times before noon. I am about to get dressed to go to work, hopefully I will make lots of money! I work doubles for the next two days, I am really not looking forward to it. I am gonna have dinner at my mothers house on sunday, so I'll let you know how I feel after working a bunch!

So, I am almost half a week into my meds and I am starting to feel better. I have been taking it wicked easy! I haven't worked since Saturday; I think I needed the rest. I am trying to get back into writing on a more regular basis, mainly so that my brother puts me back on his friends' list on his blog. I was insulted that he took me off, so if you are reading this Angelo, PUT ME BACK ON!

The past two days I have been spending much of my time with my family. I think my daughter enjoys the time with her 6 year old aunt and 9 year old uncle. My daughter is almost 6 years old....... where does the time go? It feels like just yesterday she was crawling around on the floor, and now she is asking for make-up and beauty supplies.

My mother just pulled out a home baked apple pie from the oven, and I have to go and buy some vanilla ice cream....

I know that my writing is all over the place, but I haven't written anything in a while so hopefully if I keep it up it will get better!

Zoloft!

So, I've heard that if you work hard you can achieve anything. Well, it seem that the only thing that I have "achieved" is a prescription for Zoloft. Apparenly I have a panic disorder, where I get panic attacks all the time. It sucks! The worst part of it now is that the only real worry that I panic about now is if I am going to get a panic attack. That sucks even more! So yes...... all of my hard work has turned me into a little depressed bouncing ball. I start my meds tonight, the doctor says that it should start kicking-in in about a week and a half. I hope so!

In other news....... Emily (Angelo's GF) came home yesterday! Woot-woot! I gave her a grand welcoming back by being almost two hours late to the airport! ( I was at the doctors, getting my Zoloft). Sorry Em..... I tried to make it up to her by taking her out to dinner. So on the way to drop her at my mother's house we stopped at Don Pablo's, which is a Tex-Mex reasturant. We got to catch up and chat, she kept saying that she was in culture shock....... looking at the menu.... and.......what?.........no SPAM! After dinner I dropped her off at my mothers house, we all hung out for a couple of hours and chatted. It was also the first time that my mother and jimmy spent any time with my GF Kristen, I hope that she still likes me after meeting the whole family!

Today is my birthday! Probably the most uneventful birthday that I have had up until now. I was supposed to have dinner with a family member, but the dinner got cancelled. What's new. Had to work this morning at 6:30am and got finished at around 3:30pm. Uneventful. After that I spent the next three hours running around tieing up some loose ends. It's about 7pm and I am just sitting around not doing anything, and don't have anything planned. Well.......since this has been my worst birthday ever, they can only get better. Trying to be positive! Oh yea, on top of everything, I am getting SICK!

80 HOURS A WEEK!!!!!! .........I'm tired.

We all woke up bright and early, excited that we would be spending the day out on the river. T got to school right on time, and then we had one stop, Publix, for sandwiches and snacks, and then off to Kings Landing, out by Apopka. Kings Landing is a dock where people go to lauch canoes from, if you have your own it is like 5 dollars to rent one from them is 30. The river that you lauch from, takes you on an eight mile run down the wekiva, it is one of my faviorite things to do in orlando. I have been going on this run since I was in middle school, when my mother would take me. I had some of my best childhood memories on those trips! (Thanx Mom!) To our horror, when we arrived it was closed! I was so pissed! However, we planned to have a day in the sun and thats what we were gonna do! So instead of going home mad, we went to the Wekiva Springs State Park, and rented a double cayak(sp?). I was so much fun! Here are some pics......

After about three hours we decieded to call it a day, and we headed back home. Kristen went to work, I picked up T and went to the the gym. After the gym T went swimming at the apartment, and I have been messing around with this thing for the last couple of hours.

The tooth fairy....

I picked Tiana up from her mothers house yesterday and couldn't help but notice that her front left tooth was hanging from a string. I have to say that it was a bit nasty! I picked her up at around 1 o'clock and I didn't have to work until 6, so we had some time to try and get it out before work. I didn't want her to accidentally swollow the tooth! She was really brave, she let me push it, pull it, yank on it, but nothing really worked.

We arrived at teche's house(baby sitter) just before six and told her to watch T and if she notices the tooth fall out to save it for me. Went to work............picked T up just before 10pm, no luck the tooth was stubbornly hanging on for dear life! Teche and Chuck tell me that it would be a good Idea to put some ambasol on her gums and then just yank the sucker out! I may look like a big tough guy, but on the inside I am a big baby when it comes to yanking teeth out of my 5 year old. I reluctently take accept some ambasol that Teche and Chuck give me for her tooth. One more stop until we can go home. Kristen(GF) is without a car until tuesday, so me and the T'ster have to go to her work place and pick her up. When we get there Kristen walks out with an apple; now why didn't I think of that? We start are 15minute drive home from picking Kristen up and 5minutes into it I hear a loud yell from the back seat......."I got it out!" "yaaaaaaa BaaaByy!", T is such a ham! We quickly call as many people as possible and tell them the great news, "T's black last tooth finally fell out!". (If you remember about a year ago T fell on her front teeth and they turned black) We got home and put her tooth in a safe place and went to bed................But there is more!

I woke up to "daddy, daddy, daddy, look........" Tiana was holding up a tooth... I try to shake off the morning and focus on what she is holding. "T I know you lost your tooth last night!"....... "No daddy, this is the bottom one!"

Tiana woke up this morning with her bottom tooth missing! That is so wierd! Two teeth in one day! To celebrate we played hooky from school and I took her out to breakfast at my new job. She had Chocolate Chip pancakes! It is about 7:30 pm and I am writing this sitting out on the pool deck watching T swim with a couple of the niegborhood kids...(Just took the pic of T in her swim suit) All in all I think we had a pretty fun day!

Kristen and I are going to Kings landing tomorro to do some caneoing, I'm gonna bring my camera and I'll write about my adventures tomorro night!

I know, I know, I know............ Sorry for not updating more often, but to tell you the truth I have been super busy latley and havn't had a chance! I am off the next two days and I will be writing alot tonight and tomorrow night I promise! So for the over cap.........

*Got another job.
*By day I sling hash and eggs, by night I sell USDA prime beef.

*Started going to the gym everyday.

It doesnt' sound like alot, but the new job adds another 35 hours a week to my schedule, on top of that I start work at 6:30am four days a week! Between the two jobs I go to the gym; I found that taking a nap makes me more tired. I promise to write more tonight when I get home from the gym.

Tiana's Graduation....

I never thought that at 24 I could start feeling old! But I guess having a 5 year old does throw some extra years on you. Tiana graduated from pre-k on Tuesday(I'll have pics up soon, promise) and I'll be truthful, it made me feel older. All the other parents kept laughing about how highschool is just a blink away; I don't want to think about Tiana in highshool! The ceremony was very cute! They had small chairs for all of the kids lined up outside, with all the parents and friends standing behind where the kids were sitting. They played the graduation marching song and all the kids walked out, single file and sat down, it was so cute! The four teachers called up all the kids in their class one at time and gave them their diploma and took a picture for the parents. This took all of 20 minutes. I must say it was the fastest graduation that I have ever attended! After the ceremony there were refreshments inside, and then everyone went home. I left T at school for about an hour because she wanted to play with her friends a little longer. When we got home we just kinda chilled until I made dinner(chammorro chicken) and then we took a nice walk down the street to the park and played for a couple of hours.

I took Tiana to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse for her graduation dinner, the night before her graduation. I know it sounds strange to take a 5 year old to a steakhouse, but when I asked her where she wanted to go for her special dinner she said " I want a juicy steak!" so that's what she got! After dinner we went and saw Over the hedge, the new kid movie about the little animals. I don't really recommend it, it wasn't very good.

So..... I stayed up till about 4:30am trying to figure out how this whole blog thing works! It is much harder than I thought it would be. I'm sure that once I get the hang of it, it will be like secound nature. (well at least I hope!) I woke up around 9:00am and turned the computer back on.......arrrggggg!!! I think I am already hooked. I'm probably not gonna write another post until I figure out how to post pics and stuff like that........ It's 2:30am on sunday moring, can't sleep, watching chicken little. I get a great idea! I should start a blog! All the cool people seem to be doing it, so why not me..........so here I am. My hopes for what this blog will do for me,

1. Help with my writing skills.
2. Keep my family and friends up to date with how I am doing.
3. I keep telling my-self that I need a hobbie, and I think this might just be it.
